Frequently asked question · Product Marketing
Does this replace our messaging and positioning work?
No. It is the feedback loop that work never had. You still own the positioning; we tell you how much of it survives contact with the engines, which claims they repeat, which they drop, and whose framing they use instead. Most teams end up changing the pages, not the positioning.
What the loop measures
Positioning work produces a document: the messaging house, the claims, the category you chose to be in. What it has never had is a reading of what happens to those claims once they leave the building. The daily runs give you that. Each engine's description of your product, in its words, sits next to your positioning, and the gap analysis marks three things: the claims the engines repeat, the claims they drop, and the framing they use instead, with the sources behind each one.
That read is a strategist's, not a score. A claim can be dropped because no page states it plainly, or because a competitor's page states the opposite and gets cited, and the two call for different work.
Why the pages change more than the positioning
Most of what the loop turns up is a gap between the document and the site. The positioning is fine; the homepage carries it as a headline and the deck carries it as a slide, and neither is a sentence an engine can quote. So the output is a page-by-page brief on what each positioning page has to state, plus the comparison and use-case questions your site does not answer. The positioning stays; the pages start saying it out loud.
What it gives the rest of the team
The engines describe your product to buyers in writing, before the sales call, and your competitive battlecards have never seen that text. Reading the answers each month puts it in front of the people who write the messaging and the people who use it, which is the loop closing.
