Platform · Custom Reports
One report per question. The same numbers every month.
A report is a saved filter set over your workspace, rendered against the same 24 metrics every time. Our strategist keeps yours and walks through them on the monthly call, and the same views are there when you log in.
What a report is
A report is a saved view over one workspace: a name, a folder, a star, and the filters to apply when we render the fixed catalogue of 24 metrics. Every report carries brand visibility, share of voice, position quality, the citation and social tables, and the movers. What makes one yours is the cut you save it with, because the contents never vary.
It is not a widget builder. Nobody picks charts, hides a metric that looks bad, or chooses a flattering comparison period. Every report shows the same numbers, computed the same way, so a figure means the same thing in September as it did in March.
The filters
Cut it the way you ask the question
Every filter narrows the same 24 metrics. Leave one empty and it means all; set several and they combine with AND.
A window, relative or absolute
Last 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days, or any two dates. Trends plot daily up to 30 days, weekly up to 90, monthly beyond.
Engines and countries
Any combination of the engines your workspace runs and the countries its prompts are scoped to. Perplexity in the US is two clicks.
Prompts, tags, and personas
One prompt, a tag such as Vendor comparison, or a persona such as IT buyer. Click a prompt in any table and the whole report scopes to it.
Tabs and movers
Six tabs, and Movers is the one you open first
All metrics opens with the Period Summary and closes with the movers. Market Analysis holds visibility, share of voice, and position quality; Citations the domains and pages the engines cite; Social the same per network; Prompts the per-prompt table and the Platform × Prompt Matrix.
Movers is the tab for "what changed since last time". Its six cards are the Period Summary and the movers for prompts, competitors, citation domains, cited pages, and platforms. Each row carries a status, new, grew, shrank, dropped, or flat, and the change in percentage points.
- Movers rank on each window's share of its total, so more scrape volume never reads as growth.
- When the number of answers drifts by more than a quarter, a banner above the tables says so.
Conventions
The same rules in every report
Two habits the platform never breaks, whichever report you open.
Every number opens
In the Platform × Prompt Matrix a cell is one prompt on one engine, colored by mention rate or position score. Click it and the answers behind the number open in place.
Every delta is the previous window
A 30-day report compares with the 30 days before it, and nobody chooses that comparison period. Where either window has too little data, the change reads as a dash rather than zero. A prompt delta needs at least five answers in both windows.
Folders, favorites, sharing
Filed, starred, and shared by URL
Reports live in folders, filed the way the engagement runs: Monthly calls, Platform deep-dives, one per market. Star a report and it pins to Favorites in the sidebar for every member of the workspace, in the order you drag it into.
To share a report, you send its URL. It carries the filters, the tab, the expanded card, and any open drill-down, so a colleague sees exactly what you saw. Recipients need a login to your account.
There is no PDF export, no public link, and no scheduled email. Your stakeholders get the numbers on the monthly call and in the written monthly report from our team, and your login shows the same views we walked through.
- Change a filter and it applies at once as a URL parameter, so you are looking at your own unsaved view in the address bar.
- Reset returns the report to its saved filters; Save view makes the cut you are looking at the shared default.
Why it matters
One report for each question you have
"How are we doing with IT buyers in the US on Perplexity" is a report. So is "which sources gained ground this quarter". Because the view is the same every month, a number that moves has really moved, rather than showing you a different cut of the data.
24
Metrics in every report
Visibility, share of voice, position, citations, social, and movers. None can be hidden.
6
Tabs
All metrics, Market Analysis, Citations, Social, Prompts, and Movers.
7 to 90
Days in a relative window
Absolute dates for anything longer or fixed.
6h
Metric cache
Answers arrive once a day, and cached figures are recomputed as soon as a new run lands.
Inside our GEO work
Where reports sit in the method
Reports are how you read the Detect pillar: the same cut of the data, month after month.
01 · DISCOVER
Prompt tracking fills the tables. A report is where the daily runs first become a number: which prompts name you, on which engines, in which country.
02 · OPTIMIZE
When we ship a fix or an article, the report cut to that prompt or tag is where the effect shows: mention rate and position first, citations after.
03 · DETECTThis feature
Reports are where you catch a shift. The Movers tab ranks what grew, shrank, appeared, or dropped since the previous window, and a saved view makes the comparison identical every month.
Questions about reports
What clients ask about custom reports
Can I build my own report?
Yes. Any member of your account can create a report, name it, file it in a folder, star it, and set its filters. Your strategist does the same for the views used on the monthly call. What nobody can do is choose which metrics it contains: every report renders the same 24, so any two reports are comparable.
Can I export a PDF?
No. There is no PDF, CSV, or image export, no public link, and no scheduled email. You share a report by sending its URL to someone with a login to your account. For stakeholders who do not log in, the written monthly report from our team is the document.
How are deltas calculated?
Every change compares the current window with the window of the same length immediately before it: a 30-day report against the 30 days prior, and you cannot pick a different one. Movers rank on each window's share of its total, in percentage points, so a period with more answers does not read as growth. When either window has too little data, the delta shows a dash rather than zero.
Can I share a report with my CEO?
If they have a login to your account, send the URL. It reproduces the filters, the tab, and any open drill-down, so they see exactly what you see. If they do not log in, the monthly call and the written monthly report from our team are how the numbers reach them.
How fresh are the numbers?
Your prompts run once a day, and only completed runs inside the window count. A report's metrics are cached for six hours per filter combination, and the cache is cleared when a new run lands, so a report is at most a few hours behind the last daily run. It is daily data, not a live feed.
