Frequently asked question · Content Routines
Who approves an article?
Whoever holds the review queue. In Managed GEO that is our strategists, who edit, approve, and publish on your behalf. In GEO Consulting & Trends your own content team approves, working from the brand voice and standing instructions we set on each routine. Every approval and rejection is recorded with the name of the person who made it.
What the reviewer is deciding
The reviewer is the last check between a draft and your site. A draft arrives with a sources list, which is there for the reviewer rather than the reader, since the article itself never links out. It has already been through the writer, who answers the question in the first paragraph and leaves out competitors, and the reviser, who checks the brief and applies our rules against machine-sounding prose. The reviewer decides whether it says what your brand would say.
Managed GEO: our strategists
In Managed GEO the review queue is ours. The strategist who runs your account reads each draft, edits it by hand or sends it back to the editing agent with an instruction, and approves or rejects it. Approved articles are published on your site by our team as part of the engagement. You see every article in the platform and in the monthly report, tied to the prompt it was written for.
GEO Consulting and Trends: your content team
For large companies the queue belongs to your writers and editors. We set up each routine with its brand voice and standing instructions, such as claims to avoid, a call to action, or sections you always want, so a draft already reflects decisions your team made once. We then read the run history with you, so the articles your writers approve target the questions the engines are deciding now.
The record
Every approval and rejection carries the name of the person who made it and, for a rejection, the reason. Both states are final. A rejected article cannot be edited or approved later, and an approved one has its text locked.
