GEO Consulting and Trends keeps everything that produces the plan and the measurement, and takes out the shipping. For each client we still run the GEO audit of the site, build the prioritized roadmap, and keep the daily tracking running across every major AI engine. What lands on your desk is the roadmap, the tracking, and the monthly report on what moved; what lands on your team's desk is the fixes and the content to write and publish.

It is quoted per engagement, as a retainer or a project, after the free audit, rather than as a per-brand retainer.

Who this suits

The choice comes down to capacity and to what you want to own:

• An agency with developers and writers who want GEO work on their own plates, with the audit and tracking done for them
• A consultant who writes their own content and wants the roadmap to tell them what to write
• Any team that already has a content process and does not want a second one running in the client's CMS

If the honest answer is that the hours are not there, Managed GEO is the version where we ship it ourselves.

Running both

Some agencies do. Managed GEO covers the clients they have no bench for, and consulting covers the ones where their own team has the capacity and wants the work. The workspaces, the daily tracking and the strategist are the same across both, so the client-facing report reads the same way regardless of who did the shipping.
