Frequently asked question · B2B SaaS

How long before we show up in the answers?

The technical fixes land fast and the comparison pages take much longer. Once GPTBot is allowed in and your docs and pricing render as text, the next recrawl picks it up, and within weeks “what does it cost” and “does it integrate with X” get answered off your page instead of guessed. A comparison page takes a quarter or more, because an engine has to find it, see it hold up, and see other people reference it before it will quote it. Nobody can promise you a date on that second part. What you do get from week one is the daily runs, read against what shipped on the monthly call.

Two clocks running at different speeds

The roadmap has two kinds of work, and they land on different timelines. The first is technical: letting GPTBot and the other crawlers in, getting the docs and pricing to render as text, fixing the headings and the files the engines read first. These changes count as soon as an engine recrawls the page, which is weeks rather than days. The questions they affect are the factual ones: what it costs, whether it integrates with X, what the limits are.

The second is content: the comparison, alternatives, and category pages missing from your domain. A new page has to be found by the engines, has to hold up when they read it, and has to be referenced elsewhere before an engine trusts it enough to quote it. That takes a quarter or more, and publishing more pages does not shorten it.

Why we do not put a date on it

The engines recrawl and reread on their own schedule, and each one differently. We can tell you exactly when a fix shipped and exactly when an engine started citing the page. We cannot tell you the second date before it happens, and anyone who does is guessing.

What you see while you wait

The daily runs start in week one, before anything has shipped, so there is a baseline. Each monthly call reads the runs against what went live that month: which questions moved, which engines moved, and which pages got cited. The prompts you are still absent from feed the content routine, which drafts the next page for a person to review. The second month builds on the first.
