What is our real AI visibility score, and is it improving?

What the number is made of

There is no single score an engine publishes, so we build yours from what the engines actually answer. Every day the platform puts your buyers' questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and the rest, and keeps each answer with the brands it named and the sources it cited. From that we report three things: how often you are mentioned, how often your pages are cited, and where in the answer you appear. Each is tracked per engine and per question, against the competitors you name.

The audit sets the baseline before any work ships. That first read is the "before" every later month is compared with.

Why the number arrives explained

A score that moves without a reason is not something you can act on. So the monthly report does not just show the trend; it lines up the movement with the work completed that month. A gain in citations on a set of questions sits next to the pages we published for those questions. A drop sits next to what changed in your category, which we track too: sources that gained or lost citations, competitors that moved, questions that emerged.

What improving looks like

Movement is not instant. Fixes are picked up when the engines recrawl, which takes weeks, and new content has to be found and cited before it registers. So we look at the trend over months rather than day-to-day noise, and the monthly call is where we go through it together and decide the next round.
