Frequently asked question · Government & Public Sector

Can we buy this as a fixed-scope project rather than a retainer?

Yes. GEO Consulting & Trends is quoted per engagement, and for a public body that usually means a project with a defined deliverable list: the audit of the templates and the files, a question set per service tracked for an agreed period, the accuracy read, the roadmap, and a set number of briefings. We are a small agency, so we will say plainly what we can take on and what we cannot. If your procurement needs a particular document format or a supplier registration, say so in the first message and we will work through it before we quote.

What a fixed scope has to pin down

A project price needs a number on every line, so the quote names them. How many templates we audit. How many services get a question set, and for how many months those questions run daily. How many briefings, and who they are written for. The accuracy read is scoped the same way: the reviewer reads the answers for the services in scope, not for the whole catalogue.

The free audit comes first, and it is what makes those numbers honest. One URL per template, 21 checks, with a before-and-after score. Until we have seen how many templates your site really has, and how many PDFs hold the facts your pages do not, any number we gave you would be a guess.

The part a delivery date cannot cover

The roadmap carries an owner per item, and the owners are your people: web unblocks the crawlers, the service owner rewrites the page, communications retires the old PDF. A project ends when our deliverables land, not when your teams ship. If the schedule for those fixes runs past the end of the project, say so while we are scoping it, because the tracking that shows whether a fix worked has to still be running when the fix goes live.

What procurement needs from us

Tell us in the first message what your process requires: a particular document format, a supplier registration, a stated period of performance. We are a small agency, and we would rather work through that before we quote than after. We will also say plainly what we cannot take on, which is a shorter conversation than finding out mid-project.
