Frequently asked question · Audit AI Answer Accuracy
Is the accuracy check automated?
The recording is. The reading is not. The platform runs each prompt once a day on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and Google AI Mode, and keeps the full answer, every cited source, and which brands it named and how early. It does not judge whether a claim is true, and we have not met a tool that can. A person on our team reads the recorded answers, logs each claim about you with its status, engine, market, and source, and writes the report. That takes longer than a score would, and it is the only version we would put our name on.
What the platform does on its own
The platform's job is to make the record complete and repeatable. Each prompt in your question set goes to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and Google AI Mode once a day, per market and per persona. For every answer it keeps the full text, every source the engine cited, which brands it named, and how early in the answer each one appeared. Brands are detected by matching aliases and owned domains, not by guessing.
That gives the reader a window of answers rather than one screenshot, with the cited-domains and cited-pages tables already built: each source marked as yours, a competitor's, or third party, ranked by how often the engines lean on it.
What a person has to do
Deciding whether a claim is true takes knowing your business. A wrong price, a discontinued product, a person who left, a location that closed: the platform has no way to know any of that, and neither does any scorer we have seen. So a person on our team reads the recorded answers for the window, engine by engine and market by market, and logs each claim about you as correct, outdated, wrong, missing, or unfavourable framing.
Each entry carries the engine, the country, the prompt it came from, and the source the answer cited for it, so a wrong price is logged as "ChatGPT, US, citing a 2024 directory listing" rather than "ChatGPT is wrong". The same person traces each wrong claim to a row in the source tables and writes the report: what each engine gets right and wrong, where the wrong claims come from, and a fix list with an owner on every line.
Why we keep it that way
A score would be faster to produce and easier to sell. It would also hide the one thing you need from an audit, which is where each wrong claim came from and what to do about it.
